Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Carson Springs is truly a place where you can experience God. With its scenic beauty and quiet stillness, Carson Springs is the perfect place to meet God. In 1948, Tennessee Baptists recognized the importance of retreating from the world and seeking God’s presence. Thus, Carson Springs was born. From the top of English Mountain, Carson Springs property overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains.
Over the years, many buildings as well as activities have been added. In 1951, Stokely Chapel was built for additional classroom space. It has since been remodeled and today stands as a monument to reaching the world for Christ.
The Conference Center was completed in the year 2000. It provides a more comfortable setting for all types of adult groups. Today, Carson Springs Baptist Conference Center is visited by over 10,000 people each year. At Carson Springs, your group may worship the Lord in a tranquil, mountain setting. The beauty of God’s world is evident when you commune with nature. There is uniqueness in connecting to God while on one of the hiking trails, while conversing with others as you sit in a rocking chair and listen to the creek, or while challenging yourself on the climbing wall.
Carson Springs is a special place. A place in which you can meet God.
